Uno Compost
Objective

Be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand while building a lasagna-style compost pile. For every one layer of green, you must add two layers of brown.
How to play
Once the cards have been shuffled, each player is dealt seven cards.
The remainder of the deck is placed face down to form a DRAW pile.
The dealer starts the game by pulling one card from the DRAW pile to begin the DISCARD pile.
The player to the left of the dealer goes first and places a card from their hand to continue the compost pile. The order of cards placed in the DISCARD pile must follow the COMPOST RECIPE: Brown, Brown, Green.
If a player does not have a card to continue the compost recipe, they must draw one card from the DRAW pile and forfeit their turn, or use a WILD card from their hand.

Functions of the Wild cards
Turning Day and
Water Card

When using the Turning Day card, a Water card must be added before any other card can be played.
For example, if Player 1 plays the Turning Day card, every player after Player 1 must draw a card from the DRAW pile until a Water card is placed.
Just like a real compost pile, every time you turn it, you have to add water!

Layer change

Skipped Card

These cards are used to skip the next player's turn. Although the card says “Skip a turn to water,” a Water card does not need to be added.
Draw 2 cards

These cards change the color of the pile due to the increase in materials added.
Sieved Card

This card makes the next player forfeit their turn and draw two cards from the DRAW pile, unless that player also has a Draw 2 card. In that case, the cards can be stacked to create a Draw 4 for the following player.

Compost Pile Restart Card

This card reverses the direction of the game.

Contamination Card

Your pile is done! You can take the DISCARD pile, flip it facedown, and add it to the bottom of the DRAW pile.

Worm Card

This card indicates there is contamination in the pile, which means the following player must pick up the entire DISCARD pile and add it to their hand. The game will start with the contamination card’s boarder color.
Often, when there is contamination in your compost pile, it’s better to restart or sieve out the materials to prevent unwanted scavengers from raiding your pile.
Worms and microorganisms are breaking down materials more quickly, which means the compost pile needs additional browns and greens to stay balanced. Add two layers of brown and one layer of green.
